Set across a large, sprawling estate that includes a tennis court, pool and open lawn, as well as more intimate areas, the brief was to maximise the use of the space without letting any one area feel disconnected from the next. Opening up corridors of sight across the site achieved this, with a terraced design making full use of the available space. Established magnolias and jacarandas are accompanied by layered plantings of snow pears, evergreen magnolia x alba, buxus, gardenias, xylosma and hydrangeas, forming a visual and acoustic barrier to the busy streetscape beyond.
